How our samples work

  1. Tell us what you like. Share photos, a Pinterest board, paint cards or just a mood — “warm and calm”, “dark and dramatic”.
  2. We prepare boards. We make up sample boards in a shortlist of finishes and colours that suit your room and how it will be used.
  3. See them in your space. We bring them to your free survey. Hold them against the wall, look at them morning and evening, next to your floor and fabrics.
  4. Refine. If you need a slightly lighter, warmer or glossier version, we tweak and remake until it’s right.

You can request samples using the form below, or email info@venetianplasteringlondon.uk.

FAQ

Good to know.

Are sample boards free?

We bring a selection of sample boards to every free site survey. If you’d like samples made in specific bespoke colours, we’ll confirm any cost before we make them.

Can you match a colour from a paint chart or fabric?

Usually, yes. Bring a paint card, fabric, tile or photo and we’ll tint samples to match as closely as the material allows. Lime and marble finishes always have natural variation, which is part of their beauty.

Why do samples look different on my wall?

Light, scale and sheen all change how a finish reads. A north-facing London room will make colours look cooler; gloss deepens colour while matt softens it. That’s why we always recommend viewing samples in the actual room, at different times of day.
