Polished and textured plasters have become a signature of London’s best hotels, restaurants and shops — and for good reason. They bring warmth, craft and a sense of place that paint and panelling can’t match, while standing up to the demands of a busy commercial interior.
We work directly with owners, interior designers, architects and main contractors to deliver polished plaster, textured stone effects and microcement on projects of all sizes across London and the Home Counties.
Where we work
- Hotels — lobbies, receptions, corridors, lift lobbies, suites and spa areas.
- Restaurants and bars — feature walls, curved banquettes, bar fronts, ceilings and washrooms.
- Retail — shopfronts, display walls, plinths, counters and changing rooms.
- Offices and showrooms — receptions, meeting rooms and breakout spaces.
- Wellness and beauty — clinics, salons, gyms and spas, often in tadelakt or microcement.
Finishes for commercial spaces
- Venetian plaster — for high-impact reception walls, suites and fine-dining rooms.
- Marmorino — understated, stone-like and easy to maintain in corridors.
- Travertine, concrete and textured effects — characterful and very good at hiding wear.
- Microcement — seamless floors, counters, bar tops and washrooms.
- Metallic finishes — for bars, lounges and evening spaces.
How we deliver commercial projects
- Specification support. We help designers choose systems suitable for wear, moisture, cleaning regimes and fire-safety requirements, and provide product data.
- Samples and mock-ups. Sample boards and on-site panels for sign-off on colour, texture and sheen.
- Programming. Realistic durations that respect drying and curing times, phased around other trades and trading hours.
- Site compliance. RAMS, inductions and working to the principal contractor’s rules in line with CDM 2015.
- Protection and handover. Careful protection of finished surfaces, a snagging walk-round and clear maintenance guidance for your operations team.
Built to perform
Commercial interiors take far more wear than homes. We specify protective waxes and sealers for high-touch zones, choose textures that disguise everyday marks, and use mineral, lime-based systems that are inherently non-combustible where the specification calls for it. Many finishes can be spot-repaired rather than fully redecorated — a real advantage for venues that can’t afford to close.
